Running a blog, no matter the topic, is easier to do than most people think if you are willing to put in the initial effort.  Be it a guitar blog or a parakeet enthusiast message board, all you really have to do as the blog master is to pick your topic and find the right marketing strategy.  Once you start getting a couple consistent hits and followers, most successful bloggers will discover a snowball effect as their creation grows rapidly and exponentially.  While many people take pride in watching their blog grow, others experience frustration when the popularity of their intellectual enterprises causes them to lose control over the direction the blog itself might take.  Such is the way of the blogosphere which – like so much else about the internet – can change rapidly and not just day to day but even minute to minute!
