His 18th Birthday

For our son’s 18th birthday, we decided to get him something special. Now, we couldn’t afford to help him buy a car for his 16th birthday. He ended up purchasing some old beater car from a friend for a few hundred dollars. However, God was good to us and we ended up with some extra money that year. Our son, who had never complained when all of his friends got cars and he didn’t, was our top priority. We went to a used car dealer and bought him an old but nice looking mustang. We had a mechanical friend look at it and fix it up, and then we placed it in car storage Sacramento until his birthday. When we gave it to him, he couldn’t believe it. He even tried to return it, saying we didn’t have the money. He’s a good kid, but we couldn’t let him do it. It’s now five years later and he still loves and babys that Mustang.
