I am a young driver and have just passed my driving test and am looking to buy a new car.  Does anyone know what would be the best car to get if you are on a budget? I don’t need anything too flashy but I don’t just want any old wreck. I have factored in a bit of cash for tax and insurance but can’t afford masses so a car that is cheaper to tax and one where the car insurance premiums are low would be good. I plan to leave it in my mum’s garage over night which should help my car insurance quote as well. I am not too fussy on the make and colour and as long as drives well and is quite economical on fuel – which my dad claims is the most important thing. Any ideas please as I need to get on the road as soon as poss!
