I remember my mother telling me about my grandfather and the many hours that he would put into his work although he hated it. I often wondered how come he did not change professions but I guess that was just not what you did then. When you picked a job, you stuck with it. Thankfully that is not the case now and people can switch careers quite often if they like and not be any worse off in the salary scale. I am actually looking at changing my career now and I am looking at becoming a certified pharmacist technician. The pay is even a little more than I am making now so it would be a good switch.
