When I am on vacation at one of my favorite places they have all these booths set up where people have art for sale. But it’s a different kind of art then you would find in a gallery. See what they do is sit you down and then ask you a few questions about things you like and don’t like and then draw you as a character. You know, one of those where you head is always bigger than your body and you are doing something fun and wacky? My Character painting is of me in a cute bikini surrounded by a bunch of penguins’ at the beach. It’s an awesome work of art and so much fun I had to frame it when I got home.

It’s called guitars make me happy and it is one of the coolest new guitar websites that I have seen.  I am not saying this only because I have some kind of involvement, but I have seen all kinds of guitar sites out there and this one is just good.  It seems like every single article that is written is interesting.  It’s so hard to find a site that you can go to on a regular basis and it interests you.  At least that is how I feel about the whole thing. 

Record executives have been throwing up their arms in protest over the number of p2p companies that are popping up all over the place. Reggie has contacted someone already who will help us facilitate with the transition of our sound to a more upbeat one.  We are still in the process of making an album.  The tentative album title is “World Music Revved Up!”  Our hired album distributor told us that the song writing and the melody are okay.  It’s only that we need to make the tracks more upbeat.  Maybe will decide on the addition a sound from African instruments.  The sound from those instruments are unique so it’s a thrill to wait how all this will pan out.

Our daughter was the first girl born in our family in two generations and we already had a son.  When our first daughter was born, my husband was so excited that he wanted to buy her an appropriately “girly” gift.
