How Exactly Do They Rate Dog Food

I had an interesting question come up the other day when I was out drinking with a few of my friends – how do they come up with dog food ratings? Really, its an interesting question. Think about it for a minute, do they have a bunch of poor people out in a factory that go around and taste the food for both taste and texture and say, yep the dogs will like that. Or is it all based on nutrition. All I know is that, dogs are carnivores, and it would appear that most of the dog food is corn based, not sure how that can be good for them, and quite frankly it smells like dirty old socks after a hockey game – just nasty. I know my dog will refuse to eat certain food, kinda gives you an idea that they really dont test this stuff that well. If you want to feed your dog well, I say just feed the guy some pasta and some meat, after all I have seen dogs eat their own crap, if they eat that certianly nothing else could be that bad for them could it. I would also like to know if there is a job description for dog food taster – that would be interesting to find out!

Permit me fire that off. After all, there are a million things out there that you can do with dog costumes. If you’ve seen one pet cat costumes you’ve seen them all. It’s kind of lame.
