Homes can be placed on foundations, crawl spaces, “skirts” or even basements in many situations. You often have the options of higher roof pitches, Jacuzzi tubs, stainless steel appliances, hardwood flooring, tile, etc. The only real difference between a site-built house and a manufactured home these days is how the home is assembled. With the affordability and quick time-lines of manufactured homes, the industry should be doing much better than it is today.
