Comic Book upstart
When do you first remember reading the Incredible Hulk? Unfortunately, I was a Batman Fan and considered Marvel Comics and upstart group trying to cut in on DC Comics. Ok, I felt the same way about Hopalong Cassidy shoving Roy Rogers out of the way too. My kids would bring home Spidey and Hulk comics at first and then the Hulk got his own tv show. Now here was a superhero that finally had creditability. I did not run right out and buy incredible hulk costumes to proclaim my loyalty but I did acknowledge as how he was finally able to create an interest.
