Hip hop horaayyy hoooo
Music is not all the same. Many people from the old school think all rap sounds alike, all country sounds alike and all R&B music sounds the same but the reality is that they are closing their mind to actually listening to it out of prejudice. They only like their own style of music and because they don’t take the time to appreciate it they discount all music that sounds like it as bad. One example is Rap and Hip-Hop. The music Queen Latifa used to rap was all about optimism and keeping your head up, while the mainstream rappers were always violent in nature. They may have heard the violent rap and discounted even the good stuff! It’s a shame too.
