My Teaching Got Better After Working As A Private Tutor
I work as a history teacher in a public school. My passion in teaching is what made me take up this profession. There was no problem with my teaching until a few students came to me and said that my classes were monotonous and boring. Though, a bit upset at the beginning I considered this as an opportunity to improve myself and worked part time as a private tutor through a tutoring agency. My colleagues there helped me by giving valuable advice to make the classes more interesting. This has been highly beneficial for my career and now I’m able to make the students listen to my classes with rapt attention. The same students who pointed out my weakness have now said that they feel happy to be learning history under me.
