ANALOG DVI
Using an Analog Digital Video Interface cable can limit ones options. The analog signal can only be received by CRT monitors. There are LCD monitors that can receive the Analog dvi signal, but these are typically lower end models that do not offer the same clarity of standard LCD displays. The benefit of using the CRT monitors is that they are typically much cheaper than their LCD counterparts, but they do not last as long. If the end application of the monitor is for a task that does not rely on the high end graphics of an LCD, the CRT monitor is an economical option.
